Our Hospitality Internship Program (HIP) offers 10 weeks of intensive career development with supplemental learning and collaboration with like-minded students and enterprise leaders. This is the perfect place for you to grow professionally. You will have the guidance and support of an appointed Advisor, as well as access to industry leaders throughout your experience.

During this exciting course you will also be introduced to our core values—Teamwork, Integrity, Excellence and Inclusion. This will set the stage for a future career with MGMRI.

OUR HOSPITALITY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IS JUST THE BEGINNING

Since the program’s inception in 1993, many interns have advanced their careers through full-time placement or participation in the Management Associate Program (MAP), a 12-month leadership development opportunity offered to recent college graduates. Upon successful completion, our development program has led many graduates to careers in management and executive roles within our Company.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to network with MAP Alumni who will provide insight and guidance to help you navigate your career path.

The HIP curriculum includes:

  • Customized learning plans specific to your chosen area of concentration with performance reviews over the course of the program.
  • “MGM Discovery Workshop” – an information session designed to help navigate your future career path within MGMRI.
  • Participation in MGM Resorts International Corporate Social Responsibility in philanthropic events and diversity outreach.
  • Resort Knowledge Days (RKD), a learning series that includes resort tours and discussion panels with property executives who provide insight into strategic business goals at their respective properties.
  • Capstone case study, designed by our strategic initiatives team, where you will exercise your strategic thinking, improvisation, and solving skills in a collaborative work effort.
