Concerts at House of Blues Las Vegas
House of Blues has been treasured as a premier live entertainment venue that hosts an eclectic mix of worldwide sensations, tribute bands, local acts, and regularly scheduled themed events. A trip to Las Vegas is almost incomplete without attending one of the many House of Blues concerts held at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
2017 marks an extra special year for HOB, since it’s celebrating 25 years of rock and roll greatness. When shuffling through the catalogue of all the great acts that have graced the stage since 1992, there’s no telling what surprises may be in store for 2017. Although residencies have been secured and special events have been scheduled, it wouldn’t be a true Vegas experience without leaving room for the unexpected.
Greatest Hits Live with Santana
There’s always quite the lineup when it comes to House of Blues concerts in Las Vegas and 2017 is no exception. To kickstart the year, legendary musical artist Santana will take the stage to perform the band’s greatest hits. Guests who opt for the Up Close and Personal Package will receive: (2) premium table tickets; (2) prix-fixe dinners; (2) VIP lanyards with priority access; plus, (1) bottle of champagne or wine with a gourmet snack.
Performance dates are set for January, February, May, September, and November. Longtime fans will be especially excited for these exclusive performances, since it’ll serve as a reunion for band members who were part of the late-sixties/early-seventies Santana lineup.
Long Live Billy Idol
This year, HOB Las Vegas introduces Billy Idol’s first and only residency, Billy Idol: Forever, for March and May calendar dates. Idol first burst onto the rock scene in 1981 with the release of Don’t Stop, an album that helmed the famous cover of “Mony Mony,” an anthem that’s withstood the test of time.
Idol’s signature sneer and rebellious onstage attitude brings out the punk rocker in all of us and is bound to deliver a performance that is both nostalgic and timeless. As an artist never afraid to push boundaries, he sums up his musical persona best up best by sharing this anecdote: “A disapproving chemistry teacher once wrote on my report card: “William is IDLE!” in giant block letters, I-D-L-E...we’ll see about that, I thought.”
Hanson: Middle of Everywhere Tour
In addition to HANSON’s 25th anniversary, 2017 is also the 20th anniversary of their debut release Middle Of Nowhere, lead by the iconic single “Mmmbop”, which introduced the group to the world. Mmmyeah - they're coming to the House of Blues Las Vegas for one night in October.
The tour will feature performances of the group’s most widely known material alongside fan favorites encompassing their extensive catalog. In select markets, Taylor Hanson will DJ the “Dance Like You Don’t Care” after party, which will feature an eclectic mix of modern and 90’s favorites.
