Maryland Fry Bar

Welcome to the Maryland Fry Bar, where the bounty of the Chesapeake Bay meets the traditional frying technique, right in the heart of the MGM National Harbor. At this exclusive five-seat bar, situated within Fish by José Andrés, guests have a front row view to watch chefs prepare a variety of ingredients – from wild mushrooms and local oysters, to exotic sugar toads and luxurious scallops with truffles and caviar – to create a one of a kind dining experience. The in-house sommelier will work with you to select wines to complement every creation.
Menu Overview

There are two tasting menus to explore an array of lightly battered and fried bites, intermixed with refreshing salads to cleanse your palate. José’s Way includes 11 courses and features some of the more adventurous offerings, including live sea urchin. The Classics is eight courses highlighting local fare, such as Berkshire pork belly and quail eggs with ham. A supplemental à la carte menu is also available. Each menu can be expertly paired with a selection of Rieslings by our Master Sommelier, or you can select from the full wine and cocktail list.
