In 2020 we undertook a review of our overall Social Impact & Sustainability strategy by soliciting feedback from stakeholders as part of our materiality assessment and conducting a review of peer and leader ESG programs. As a result, we meaningfully refined our strategy, simplified our strategic pillars and established a set of priorities in direct alignment with specific U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. We also formalized a commitment to marketplace leadership.

We are passionately committed to philanthropy, volunteerism and community engagement.
Core Belief: We believe a greener business is a better business and environmental leadership is critical to 21st century corporate leadership. We preserve the environment by reducing water, energy and waste, while increasingly purchasing environmentally preferable materials. We are committed to renewable electricity and being a global leader in the fight against climate change.
In 2017 and 2018 we established a primary set of formal forward-looking goals in our three strategic pillars of Fostering Diversity & Inclusion, Investing in our Communities, and Protecting the Planet. We have already met and reset some of these 2025 goals. And in 2021 we established two 2030 climate goals: reduce our scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 (2019 baseline) and to source 100% renewable electricity by 2030 (80% globally).
