We are excited to share that MGM Rewards officially becomes the loyalty program of The Cosmopolitan on July 30, 2024. Members can continue to play, earn, and redeem with Identity Rewards through July 29, 2024.

Members can confidently continue to play and earn with Identity and know their earnings will be recognized when determining their new MGM Rewards Tier Status. On July 30, 2024, members will receive a one-time adjustment of Tier Credits in the MGM Rewards program based on Tier Points earned July 30, 2023 – July 29, 2024 in the Identity Rewards program. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.

Members will keep their existing Identity Point and FREEPLAY balances when MGM Rewards becomes the loyalty program for The Cosmopolitan.

Your point balance as of July 29, 2024 will automatically transfer on July 30, 2024 to your new – or existing – MGM Rewards account as follows:

• Identity Points earned from slot play will be migrated to MGM Rewards SLOT DOLLARS®, which can be converted to FREEPLAY.
• Identity Points earned from non-gaming will be converted to MGM Rewards Points, which can be redeemed for hotel stays & spend, dining, entertainment and more.

Your Identity Rewards FREEPLAY balance as of July 29, 2024 will automatically transfer to your MGM Rewards account as FREEPLAY.

Continue earn and redeem your Identity Rewards Member tier benefits through July 29, 2024. Starting July 30, redeem tier benefits through MGM Rewards. Tier benefits are based on your MGM Rewards Tier Status and Tier Credits earned. Learn more about MGM Rewards Tier Status and benefits.

Identity offers booked prior to Identity transitioning to MGM Rewards will be honored. After the transition, members will continue to see offers reflective of their play through MGM Rewards.

We are working to make the transition as seamless as possible. There is no action needed from you now. On July 30, 2024, Identity Members will be sent an email with a new MGM Rewards account number and activation link. If you already have an MGM Rewards account, you’ll continue to log in to your existing account as usual.

Members can confidently continue to play and earn with Identity and know their earnings will be recognized in their new MGM Rewards Tier Status and offers. Plus, Identity Point and FREEPLAY balances as of July 29, 2024 will automatically transfer to their new MGM Rewards account on July 30, 2024. 

Identity Membership & Rewards and MGM Rewards will remain separate programs through July 29, 2024. For now, Identity Points may only be redeemed at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas; MGM Rewards Points may only be redeemed at an MGM Rewards destination.

As of July 30, upcoming Identity Rewards Member reservations at The Cosmopolitan will be automatically updated with your new or existing MGM Rewards account number and Tier Status.

Once Identity Rewards transitions to MGM Rewards, members will have the ability to earn and use MGM Rewards Points, Slot Dollars and Tier Credits across their experiences at The Cosmopolitan, including the resort’s incredible array of accommodations, dining, gaming, and more.

Yes, use of your MGM Rewards Mastercard at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas currently earns 3x MGM Rewards Tier Credits and MGM Mastercard Points per $1 spent as well as all other MGM Rewards destinations.

Yes, qualified members will receive notifications about access to events – contact your casino host for information.

Starting July 30, 2024, hotel reservations at The Cosmopolitan can be booked and managed through MGM Resorts’ website and app. 

Yes! As a Cosmopolitan hotel guest, you can currently apply eligible food and beverage charges at any Las Vegas MGM Rewards destination to your room at The Cosmopolitan – that includes Bellagio, ARIA, Vdara, MGM Grand, Signature, Park MGM, Mandalay Bay, Delano Las Vegas, New York-New York, Luxor, and Excalibur.

Likewise, hotel guests at any Las Vegas MGM Rewards destination can apply eligible Cosmopolitan food and beverage charges to their rooms. All such room charges are eligible to earn loyalty currency (either Identity Points at The Cosmopolitan or MGM Rewards Points at MGM Rewards destinations).

Once Identity Rewards transitions to MGM Rewards, MGM Rewards Members with Pearl+ Tier Status can utilize their complimentary self-parking benefit at The Cosmopolitan. For more information about self-parking at The Cosmopolitan for hotel guests and Identity Rewards Members, click here.

For now, there are no changes to where MGM Resorts and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas gift cards can be redeemed.

Starting July 30, MGM Rewards gift cards will be available for purchase and redemption at The Cosmopolitan. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas gift cards can continue to be redeemed beyond July 30, 2024.

Your gaming spend at The Cosmopolitan will be included in a separate win/loss (tax information) statement through the life of the Identity Rewards program, July 29, 2024.

No, your credit line is exclusive to The Cosmopolitan.

MGM Resorts International is a member of the American Gaming Association and adheres to its Responsible Gaming Code of Conduct.  Persons who are currently enrolled in the MGM Resorts International Self-Limit Program, The Cosmopolitan Self-Limit Program, or any affiliated state-sponsored self-exclusion programs, will have their gambling privileges limited at all MGM Resorts properties.  This includes the inability to use the BetMGM application or associated online-gambling platforms.

Yes, The Cosmopolitan is still a part of the Marriott Autograph Collection.

Beginning on March 6, 2024, conversion of Identity Points into Marriott Bonvoy points and the conversion of Marriott Bonvoy points into Identity Points will be discontinued.

Yes, you will earn MGM Rewards Tier Credits for all qualifying sports wagers.

Yes, you may cash a winning BetMGM ticket at any of the 10 Las Vegas sportsbook locations, regardless of which BetMGM Nevada sportsbook it was placed.
