Identity Points were converted into MGM Rewards Tier Credits on July 30, 2024. Identity members received a one-time adjustment as MGM Rewards Tier Credits based on: 

The Identity Tier Points earned by the Identity Rewards Member between July 30, 2023 – July 29, 2024 were doubled, and an Identity Table Play Bonus amount* based on table play from July 30, 2023 – July 29, 2024 (if any) was then added to this amount.  

 This one-time adjustment of MGM Rewards Tier Credits was combined with any existing MGM Rewards Tier Credits to determine your MGM Rewards Tier Status through January 31, 2026. Continue earning MGM Rewards Tier Credits through December 31, 2024 to advance your MGM Rewards Tier Status for the following year! 

 *Identity Table Play amount is determined based on length of play, average bet amount & game type of table play at The Cosmopolitan as determined by MGM Resorts.

Your point balance as of July 29, 2024 automatically transferred on July 30, 2024 to your new – or existing – MGM Rewards account as follows: 

• Identity Points earned from slot play were migrated to MGM Rewards SLOT DOLLARS®, which can be converted to FREEPLAY to redeem at any MGM Rewards destination nationwide. 

• Identity Points earned from non-gaming were converted to MGM Rewards Points, which can be redeemed for hotel stays & spend, dining, entertainment and more at any MGM Rewards destination nationwide.

 

Your Identity Rewards FREEPLAY balance as of July 29, 2024 automatically transferred to your MGM Rewards account as FREEPLAY to redeem at The Cosmopolitan.

If you’re already a member of MGM Rewards, there won’t be any changes to your account number or the way you sign in. 

For former Identity members new to MGM Rewards, a new MGM Rewards account has been created for you*.  You can now:

Yes, MGM Rewards Mastercard cardholders earn 3X MGM Mastercard Points and MGM Rewards Tier Credits per every $1 spent at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, as well as any of our other MGM Rewards destinations.

Yes, qualified members will receive notifications about access to events – contact your casino host for information.

Yes, MGM Rewards Tier Status Earning Year for all members starts January 1st and ends on December 31st. During that time, MGM Rewards members can earn Tier Credits to determine Tier Status for the current and following Tier Status Benefit Year, which runs February 1 to January 31. Tier Credits reset to zero annually on January 1.

You have the ability to look up and/or modify your upcoming room reservations online via Find Reservations and Trips. You can also use the Trips tab on the MGM Resorts mobile app to access existing reservations. At this time, existing room reservations at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas may only be accessed through Trips on the web, not through the mobile app.

To modify reservations made through a third-party booking site (i.e. Expedia, Agoda, Booking.com, etc.), please contact the third party directly.

Hotel reservations at The Cosmopolitan can now be booked and managed through MGM Resorts’ website and app.

Yes! As a Cosmopolitan hotel guest, you can apply eligible food and beverage charges at any Las Vegas MGM Rewards destination to your room at The Cosmopolitan – that includes Bellagio, ARIA, Vdara, MGM Grand, Signature, Park MGM, Mandalay Bay, Delano Las Vegas, New York-New York, Luxor, and Excalibur.

Likewise, hotel guests at any Las Vegas MGM Rewards destination can apply eligible Cosmopolitan food and beverage charges to their rooms. All such room charges are eligible to earn MGM Rewards Points.

MGM Rewards gift cards are now available for purchase and can be redeemed at select locations at The Cosmopolitan.
