Meet the Chef

Chef Simon Yi brings over 22 years of culinary experience to Rice and Company as the new Executive Head Chef. Upon graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Simon gained valuable experience working at 3 Michelin Star Joel Robuchon and continued his career as a chef for Grand Wok, Diego's, and Shibuya at MGM Grand.

Most recently, he opened Kumi Restaurant and Bar by Akira Back as their head chef. Luxor is excited to have Chef Simon join our team as his passion and culinary innovation will raise the bar of excellence to new heights.
