Guide to Big Six Wheel

Goal

Knowing the facts without spin is always a good strategy.

The Big Six Wheel is a large vertical wheel, sometimes referred to as the Big Wheel, Big Six, Money Wheel or the Wheel of Fortune. The goal of the game is to bet on the number or symbol that the wheel will stop on.

Rules

It’s more fun if you know what you’re doing.

Place a bet on any number(s) or symbol(s) on the wheel.

The dealer will spin the wheel three full rotations before the clapper settles on the winning number or symbol.

ETIQUETTE

Never place a bet after the wheel has started spinning

Don’t act like a big wheel. Be respectful of other players.

Odds

Generally, the bigger the payout, the higher the house advantage. Payout odds are at least:

  • $1 Insignia: 1 to 1
  • $2 Insignia: 2 to 1
  • $5 Insignia: 5 to 1
  • $10 Insignia: 10 to 1
  • $20 Insignia: 20 to 1
  • Joker: 45 to 1
  • Flag: 45 to 1

You can’t change the odds, but you can change how much you play and how often you bet.

TERMINOLOGY

Clapper: The needle that stops on the winning number

Payout Odds: The likelihood that a payout will occur, and what you can expect to profit if you win

Even Money: A wager with even odds (i.e., a player can win or lose the same amount of money that they bet)
