Things to Do in Vegas - July 2026

Even though summers are hot in the desert, July is still a great time to visit Las Vegas. Sunny days are followed by even brighter nights in the city across the Strip and beyond. There’s no better place to celebrate the Fourth of July, with plenty of exciting events like fireworks, pool parties, and more.

Fourth of July Fireworks and Shows

Las Vegas is an exciting place to be on the Fourth of July. Many casinos and resorts on the Strip hold firework shows and holiday celebrations for guests to enjoy.

Bellagio Fountain Show

The Bellagio Fountain show runs all throughout the day and into the night for visitors to enjoy, and this doesn’t change on July 4th. At nighttime, the lights turn on to illuminate the falling water display. On Independence Day, you can experience this lovely show with Fourth of July fireworks from nearby casinos in the background.

Firework Views From Boulevard Pool

You won’t want to miss the fireworks show in Vegas on the 4th, and the Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan is the perfect place to catch all of the action. It’s centrally located on the rooftop of the Boulevard Tower, offering panoramic views of nearby properties like the Bellagio. In the past, there have been parties and outdoor movie nights to celebrate under the fireworks.

Strip View Rooms

If you’d rather enjoy the fireworks in a robe without leaving your hotel room, we recommend staying at a resort with views of the Strip. Park MGM offers Strip view rooms, along with the Aria Sky Suites high rise tower. The Skylofts at MGM Grand have floor to ceiling windows for an up-close view of the show. Be sure to book a north facing loft for unobstructed views.

Concerts and Residency Performances

July brings an exciting line up of concerts and residency performances. One of the best venues to catch residencies and international tour shows is Park MGM’s Dolby Live. The venue has advanced sound and video systems for an immersive experience. From ultra famous pop stars to limited time residencies, there is often something for everyone on the schedule in July.

Indoor Attractions and Entertainment Options

Las Vegas gets very hot in July, but there are a lot of cool things to do inside that won’t slow you down during your visit.

MGM Grand

Even inside, MGM Grand is full of exciting things to do. The MGM Grand Spa & Salon will help you unwind with spa treatments, saunas, lounges, and more. And just a short rideshare or taxi away, Topgolf Las Vegas uses misters and cold drinks to keep the breeze going.

Bellagio

The Bellagio Conservatory changes with the seasons. In July, you can expect a new whimsical summer theme with fresh displays of flowers and greenery. The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is a rotating exhibit that features talented artists in an intimate gallery setting. You can book a guided tour or get tickets to walk around for an unforgettable cultural experience.

ARIA Resort & Casino

ARIA Resort & Casino is one of the most technologically advanced properties on the Strip. You can take a break from the heat by taking an indoor art tour through the ARIA Fine Art Collection. During your self guided tour, you’ll experience paintings, sculptures, and life-sized installations built into the resort.
