Through volunteerism, employee giving and company philanthropy, MGM Resorts instills philanthropic commitment and pride in employees that drive positive social impact in their communities.
MGM Resorts employees can earn up to $1,500 for the charity of their choice by logging their volunteer hours. Grants of $100 are earned for every 20 volunteer hours.
Each quarter three employees are recognized and presented the MGM Resorts Volunteer Service Award for demonstrating our company’s core values within the workplace and exemplifying integrity and teamwork in their daily lives. The honorees include one employee in Southern Nevada, one from a regional property and one from any location determined by popular vote. Recipients receive a $2,500 donation for the nonprofit of their choice.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility Councils are a cornerstone of our culture of diversity and inclusion. They reinforce inclusion teachings and practices, while providing communications and support networks for all employees. Each council is governed by its own self-directed structure and sets its own roster of annual activities. As a result, these councils are hubs for leadership development and collaborative teamwork in support of the Company’s business objectives and community engagement.
