All Eyes On Park Theater
For a city where bright and shiny is boring and the next “in” thing is “out” five minutes later, there’s no room for mediocre. Major is more like it. If there’s one constancy of Vegas, it’s that nothing ever stays the same. The clink-clink of the casino floor is as prominent as ever before, but now the future of technology has made it to present day in guest rooms and global superstars are setting up residency up and down the Strip. It can be a tough to keep pace with the razzle dazzle of Sin City.
Unless you’re MGM Resorts.
Its commanding presence continues to dominate the entertainment space in America’s favorite playground with no sign of letting up anytime soon. As proof, this past December, MGM Resorts introduced Park Theater at Monte Carlo Resort & Casino. The classic elegance of this long beloved casino is familiar with how to guarantee guests a first-class experience and with the official opening of its 5,200-seat live music and performing arts venue, every attendee is treated to a more intimate, incomparable experience.
Step Inside a World of Pure Imagination
Guests of the Park Theater will immediately notice the state-of-the-art inclusions, such as a custom LED wall with 4K-quality resolution and telescopic retractable seating raises the bar for how live entertainment should be viewed. Since its recent
debut, Park Theater is wasting no time making its presence known. Having secured the legendary Stevie Nicks and rock group, The Pretenders, for its grand opening in January 2017, it’s clear Monte Carlo Resort & Casino got the mediocre memo and wants no part of it. They set the tone in a groundbreaking way as the newest addition to the MGM Resorts family.
And every seat at the Park Theater is the best seat in the house. By working with some of the best engineers MGM Resorts developed a seating plan that ensures each seat in the house has a great view of the stage. Stylish seating doesn’t compromise comfort – ample leg room and cupholders are available in every row.
See how the Park, T-Mobile Arena, and the new Park Theater work together and enjoy a view-like-no-other with wall-to-wall windows and multiple balconies. Should you need to stretch your legs during the show, perhaps for another cocktail or beer, show-goers can step out on the balconies for a breath of fresh air and incomparable views on the Strip.
Up Next: 2017 Park Theater Performances
The momentum continues in 2017 with musical powerhouses claiming their spots in the Park Theater lineup. The “24K Magic” man himself, Bruno Mars, will grace the stage this spring for one weekend in March and return for an encore during Labor Day weekend.
That’s a hard act to follow and few can do it, but if anyone could bring the same kind of star power to the table, it’d be none other than the Goddess of Pop. As one of the originators of the first-name only status, Cher and all her magnificence is set to take the stage starting in February for several performance dates. Then, comes back for a second lineup in May.
And if that weren’t enough to pack the theater night after night, Ricky Martin will start his residency at Park Theater on April 5, 2017 with show dates through April, June, July, and September. Few radio stations skipped the “Livin’ the Vida Loca” days and now it’s time for them to be revived.
These are the top-billed acts scheduled for the theater’s inaugural year, but 2017 has barely begun, so it’s tough to say what else MGM Resorts has up its sleeve.
Vacation Like a VIP
The new theater is part of The Park, an outdoor entertainment district reimagined, which was conceived and executed by MGM Resorts to give guests the Vegas experience everyone knows and loves, but with whipped cream and a cherry on top. If you’re staying in that area of the Strip, you’ll have easy access to T-Mobile Arena, the attractions at New York - New York Hotel & Casino, and now, Park Theater.
What better time to book a trip to Vegas and see what’s new? Take advantage of the room packages at the Monte Carlo and upgrade to a Strip View room, VIP check-in experience, and a separate VIP line for access into Park Theater. Make sure to complete your night out with a pre-show dinner for two at one of the many great restaurants nearby and clink to the good life over a bottle of champagne.
While dinner at either restaurant is included in the room package, there are 11 alternative dining options to choose from at Monte Carlo to begin or end the night.
