Best Things To Do Before and After The Show

Las Vegas is arguably one of the most remarkable cities in the world for top-notch entertainment. Elevate your evening with more than just the main event. You have the tickets, now let MGM Resorts fill your pre and post-show experiences with spirits, nosh and nightlife.

  • Lively Libations

Whether it’s your pre-show hype mechanism or a relaxing nightcap, cocktails are the ultimate way to enjoy time with those around you. Raise a glass to the evening at Juniper Cocktail Lounge at Park MGM, which is home to the largest collection of gin in Las Vegas. House-made syrups and juices add a personal touch to the bar’s cocktail menu. The presentation of cocktails is truly a spectacle of the senses. Walk down the hall to take your pick from the largest agave-based spirit selection in Las Vegas at Mama Rabbit Mezcal + Tequila Bar. While sipping on craft cocktails, nibble on a selection of light bites that will make you feel like you’re in Oaxaca.

  • Dine in Splendor

Fuel your body for whatever show you’re about to enjoy. Enter the stylish world of Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar at Park MGM, a Chicago-style eatery that offers not-to-miss hors d’oeuvres, a variety of fresh seafood and seriously juicy butcher’s cuts of meat. Enjoy your meal in red leather booths dimly lit by chandeliers with smooth jazz humming in the background. For a New York inspired dining space, head to The NoMad Restaurant at NoMad Las Vegas. The best way to tackle the large menu is to order family style so as not to miss any dishes that the table desires to taste. A true sight to see (and feast on) is the “Fruits de Mer,” which pairs a variety of seafood with complementary ingredients. All pieces are married together and placed carefully on a bed of crushed ice and served on a tower. Across the hall at The NoMad Bar you will find an eclectic menu of cocktails and dinner with plenty of light options as well. Open until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, this is a great option for an after-show nibble or two.

  • Discover Italy the Eataly Way

In Italy, a macelleria is a butcher shop. At Manzo, it’s a way of life. Located within Eataly Las Vegas, this Italian butcher’s restaurant features prime quality meat, veggies and herbs sourced from estates in Nevada and the surrounding regions. Visible to the guest’s eye is a three-tiered wood-burning grill complemented with white oak, apple wood and coals that help deliver each dish’s rustic flavor. To shift gears to an after show experience, don’t miss Eataly’s late night specials available from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Chock full of paninis and pizza, there’s no way you’ll go to bed hungry.

  • Keep the Party Going

Don’t let the night end with your show. Bring your crew to the hottest modern speakeasy experience on the Las Vegas Strip. Created by nightlife connoisseurs Jonnie and Mark Houston, On The Record melds music and mixology offering a multilayered guest experience. The club is hidden behind a record store off the Park MGM casino floor and features both indoor and outdoor space for activities such as dancing, relaxing and playing arcade games. A cassette-covered door grants guests access to the Record Parlor which, from time to time, features the country’s best “star-tenders” in residency. Ask nicely and they’ll mix a cocktail that reflects your favorite song. Guests can also step through hidden passageways to access intimate karaoke rooms. The best of the best DJs spin music all night every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night. Don’t forget to bring your Park Theater concert ticket for complimentary entry the night of your show.
