As Chief Sales Officer and Senior Vice President for MGM Resorts International with a 25-year tenure within the organization, Stephanie Glanzer, CMP, is responsible for the company’s overall sales strategy and operations comprised of group, industry relations, global sales, transient and luxury sales strategy as well as property operations including catering and convention services.
Glanzer and her team oversee and manage more than 4 million square feet of meetings and convention space in Las Vegas and throughout the U.S., positioning MGM Resorts as a leader in destination events and entertainment. She sits on the Executive Board of Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International Americas and U.S. Travel Association as well as Co-Chair’s the Meetings Means Business Coalition. She is also a member of Meeting Professional Industry and Professional Convention Management Association.
Glanzer also holds her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and has a strong passion for public speaking and training on contract negotiation. In her time away from work, she enjoys travel, live music, cooking and spending time with her family.
As Vice President of Global Sales for MGM Resorts International with a 20+ tenure within the organization, Shelly Cruz, CMP, leads the global sales teams that reside throughout the country and supports the overall corporate strategies of the Sales, Services and Catering division for the company.
Cruz is passionate about hospitality education with our next generation of leaders. She is an active board member for Tourism Diversity Matters, a member of Women Leading Hospitality & Tourism & PCMA and a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP). In her time away from work, she enjoys golfing, driving fast cars and reading mystery novels.
Victoria Chivers, CMP, is a seasoned leader and hospitality executive with nearly two decades of experience within the organization, overseeing strategic direction for Catering & Convention Services, Weddings, Chapels, Group Dining, In-Suite Catering and Nightlife.
A Certified Meeting Planner, Chivers has masterminded events from Fortune 500 company galas to curating key moments throughout Bon Appetit’s 13-year event, Vegas Uncork’d. She served the Las Vegas chapter of the International Live Events as President, President-Elect, Vice President of Programs and Education and has served on the Board of Directors and has volunteered for UNLV’s Mentor Program for nearly a decade.
As Vice President of Sales and Group Operations for MGM Resorts International with industry experience spanning over 25 years, Luis Lamar oversees meetings and convention sales for the company’s portfolio.
Most recently, Lamar was selected to be part of the company’s high-potential Accelerated Leadership Program. He is also an active member of Meeting Professionals International, Society of Incentive Travel Executives, Professional Convention Managers Association and serves on the Advisory Board of The Above and Beyond Foundation. In his free time, Lamar enjoys exercising, skiing and off-roading.
